  • Bio-ComposterPlant:
The ladies hostel has two Messes in its premises with a capacity of more than 300 students. Each mess daily produces a minimum 10 kg of food and vegetable waste which is organic in nature. The hostel premises also generate leaf, litter and weeds waste. Disposal of such waste is a big problem for hostel administration. So, considering this difficulty a Rotary Drum Bio Composter is installed near mess for vermicompost. To remove the odour problem the aeration is provided through rotating the drum either by manually.
