School of Allied Health Sciences is one of its kind of unique schools established by the university with aim of creating qualified & skilled allied health human resources required to cater to the need of the local community of Solapur & neighboring districts. Solapur is declared a smart city and in recent times is known for the availability of quality healthcare at an affordable price. Due to its good rail & road connectivity with the rest of India, Solapur is fast becoming a medical hub. Due to this, there is a constant demand for a qualified allied healthcare workforce. To cater to this need School of Allied Health Sciences has been started in the year 2018. Currently, School runs two postgraduate courses- MA Yoga and Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Nutrition. Apart from this School also runs two Skill Based Courses namely- Diploma in Yoga Teacher & Certificate Course in Acupressure. School intends to start many more skill-based courses in the near future.
