              Solapur is a multilingual and multicultural district. Most of the students in the university are from rural area so the aim of the School of Languages and Literatures is to develop their language proficiency and motivate them for doing research to make them competent for self employment and take various responsibilities in various fields. The students should become good human beings with advanced knowledge, excellent professional expertise and soft skills, and they should be able to face the challenges in the changing educational system in the dynamic scenario of  21^st century so the highly qualified faculties have been appointed.

 We are concentrating on interdisciplinary and transcendental research and doing MoUs with various well-known institutions and universities. The school is trying its level best with the objective of making the students best pillars of our nation by motivating them with the social ethics like humanity, women empowerment, gender and social equality, social sensitivity etc.
